Taepyongso

   The Taepyongso is known as soenap, hojok as well as nalari. Its reed is short and narrow and the body is tapering to the end. The instrument has eight finger holes, one in the rear.
Since it has a straight tone, it has been played at all kinds of outdoor events, from military processional music and farmers' music to ancestral shrine music.
